The Add and Drop Period allows exchange students to make changes to their course selection after the semester begins.

Who can change their courses?

All exchange students may modify their course enrolment within 10 days after the start of classes. During this period, you may:

  • Add new courses
  • Drop courses you no longer wish to take
  • Replace a course with another one

These changes must also be reflected in your Learning Agreement.

Add and Drop Period Dates

Fall Semester

  • From: September 7
  • Until: September 17, 5 PM

Spring Semester

(For students arriving in Spring or students who began their exchange in the Fall semester and are continuing their studies during the Spring semester.)

  • From: January 11
  • Until: January 21, 2027, 5 PM

Important: After the Add and Drop Period ends, you can no longer add or replace courses. Only course withdrawals (dropping courses) are permitted.

How to request a course change

If you wish to add, drop, or replace a course, you must send an email to the Incoming Mobility Coordinator:

Melinda AINCE
incomingdri@icp.fr

Please send your request before the deadline and include both the course title and the course code for each course you wish to change.

Here is an example of email you can send to request course changes

Courses I want to add:

  • Introduction to British Art History –FDL_HDA_L1_S1_CM_HDA_PAYS_ANGLO

Courses I want to drop:

  • Writing Workshop – FDL_LEA_L3_S5_TD_AN_ECRIT

Please note: While you may request to add new courses during the Add and Drop Period, adding a course is not guaranteed. Some TD (tutorial) groups may already be full by the start of the semester, and it may therefore not be possible to accommodate your request. We encourage you to have alternative course choices in case your preferred course or TD is no longer available.

After your course changes

Once your enrolment has been updated, you must send a new, final version of your Learning Agreement to Melinda AINCE at incomingdri@icp.fr.

Before sending it, make sure that your updated Learning Agreement has already been approved and signed by your home university.

IMPORTANT REMINDER: You must not exceed a total of 30 ECTS credits per semester.
