This writing workshop is designed to help students refine their written English by working on both method and style. Emphasis will be placed on structuring ideas clearly, building logical arguments, and writing with precision and fluency. Particular attention will be given to transitions, lexical accuracy, and adapting tone and style to different contexts, from neutral and explanatory to persuasive and professional. The course combines guided exercises, detailed feedback, and rewriting tasks. Students will practice analyzing writing techniques, revising their own texts, and producing a variety of documents, ranging from academic essays to professional genres such as letters, emails, memos, press releases, and descriptive reports (e.g. interpreting charts or data). Work will also focus on strengthening critical thinking while encouraging creativity and autonomy.
